About Us

Asia Post is a Bangla-language online and multimedia news platform. Operating under Asia Post Limited, the organization began its journey on 1 February 2026 with the slogan "Your Global Voice," and was officially inaugurated on 11 May 2026. The inauguration was conducted by the Honorable Minister for Information and Broadcasting of the Government of Bangladesh, Zahir Uddin Swapan.

Asia Post is headquartered in Dhaka and has approximately 120 full-time employees. In addition, it has correspondents in every district of Bangladesh, representatives across numerous sub-districts (upazilas), and correspondents in several countries around the world.

Our Mission

Asia Post's mission is to deliver accurate and reliable news to readers and audiences as quickly as possible through trustworthy journalism. In the long term, we aspire to establish ourselves as a global news organization and become one of the most trusted and influential news platforms in Asia.

Our Coverage

Although Asia Post has placed a strong emphasis on investigative journalism from its inception, our coverage extends far beyond investigative reporting. We regularly publish and broadcast a wide range of content, including national and international news, politics, business and economy, society, technology, culture, sports, in-depth analysis, opinion, and commentary.

Through an extensive network that spans remote regions of Bangladesh as well as the international arena, we continuously deliver important and relevant stories to our audience. Alongside our field correspondents in every district of Bangladesh, our international correspondents contribute valuable global perspectives to our coverage.

While Asia Post is a Bangladesh-based news organization, we also aim to reach international audiences, particularly readers across Asia and South Asia.

Keeping pace with the digital era, Asia Post places strong emphasis on technology-driven journalism. Through rapid news delivery, multimedia storytelling, data visualization, and social media integration, we strive to make news more accessible, engaging, and impactful for our audience.

A Strong Team and Leadership

Asia Post is driven by a team of experienced, professional, and technology-oriented young journalists. By leveraging modern digital tools, data-driven journalism, and multimedia storytelling, we continuously innovate to make our reporting more effective, credible, trustworthy, and engaging.

Editorial Leadership

Asia Post is led by Palash Mahmud, one of the most respected and trusted figures in Bangladesh's digital journalism landscape. Under his leadership, Asia Post follows a well-structured editorial system committed to producing accurate, credible, and high-quality journalism.

Editorial Policy

Asia Post is firmly committed to independent and impartial journalism. We prioritize truth, evidence, and factual reporting while remaining free from political or ideological bias. Editorial decisions are never influenced by external pressure or vested interests; instead, they are guided solely by the interests of our readers and the pursuit of factual accuracy.

Fact-Finding and Verification

At a time when misinformation, disinformation, and misleading content are increasingly widespread, Asia Post places particular importance on fact-checking and verification.

Our dedicated fact-finding team carefully verifies every news report through multiple sources and verification methods. Before publication, every story undergoes a rigorous editorial review to ensure that the information presented is accurate, reliable, and relevant.

Our fact-finding efforts are not limited to verifying our own reporting before publication. The Asia Post Fact-Finding Team also regularly investigates and verifies nationally and internationally significant events that are widely discussed in the public sphere.
