The Asia Post is a Bengali-language daily newspaper published from Dhaka. Operating under Asia Post Media Limited with the slogan "Your Global Voice," the organization launched its online and multimedia-based platform operations on February 1, 2026. It was officially inaugurated on May 11 of the same year by Zahir Uddin Swapan, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
Currently, around 120 regular staff members work at the Asia Post's main office in the capital, Dhaka. Additionally, it has district representatives in all 64 districts of Bangladesh, sub-district (upazila) representatives in over 300 upazilas, and its own correspondents in more than 25 countries.
The print edition of the Asia Post is published on behalf of Asia Post Limited by Editor and Publisher Palash Mahmud from its main office on the 10th floor, Bengal Centre, 28 Topkhana Road (Paltan), Shahbagh, Dhaka, and is printed from Shariatpur Printing Press at 28/B, Toyenbee Circular Road, Motijheel, Dhaka. The online version of the Asia Post is also operated from the main office by Editor and Publisher Palash Mahmud on behalf of Asia Post Limited.

Asia Post Media Limited is officially registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC) under the Government of Bangladesh, incorporated in February 2026. The company is led by four shareholders: Masud Alam as Chairman, Moshahed Hasan as Vice Chairman, Palash Mahmud as Managing Director, and Mahdi Hasan as Deputy Managing Director.
In addition to his role as Managing Director, Palash Mahmud serves as the Editor and Publisher of Asia Post. With nearly fifteen years of experience in Bangladesh's media industry, he has a proven track record in reporting, editing, and directing digital content across print, online, and broadcast platforms.
Previously, he held key reporting and digital leadership roles at several of the country's leading media houses, including Kalbela, Jugantor, Manab Zamin, The Daily Inqilab, Somoy TV, RTV, and Desh TV. His professional expertise lies primarily in newsroom leadership, audience-centric digital media strategy, and data journalism.
Palash Mahmud earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in History from Jahangirnagar University, where he began his career in journalism as a campus reporter.
