Five injured in a blast of hand bomb in a Madaripur madrasa

Five students injured in a blast of hand bomb in a female madrasa premises in Madaripur. One of the serious injured students sent to Dhaka for better treatment.

The incident was taken place in Gopalpur Darus Sunnah Female Madrasa in Kalkini municipality area in the district on Saturday (15 August).

Witnesses said, the hand bomb was detonated in the morning in front of the Imon Sarder’s residential house situated inside the madrasa premises, while the students were entering the madrasa.

Fear created in the adjacent areas after the loudly exploding of the bomb.

Locals rushed fast and recovered and taken the injured students to Madaripur 250 bed hospital.

Meanwhile, seriously injured Abida Akhter has been sent to Dhaka for better treatment as her condition deteriorated.

Base on information, a team of police personnel visited the spot. Police have initiated investigation on the incident to findout who were behind the bomb explosion.
