July Memorial Museum opens for the people on Thursday. Huge enthusiasm of the people to visit the museum has been proved in the first day after its inaugural.

As per the decision highest 900 visitors could visit the museum a day.

Meanwhile, all of the 900 tickets for the first day of the museum Thursday, was sold a day earlier on Wednesday within afternoon.

Earlier on Wednesday (5 August) Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inaugurated the museum situated in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagor.

The museum was restricted only for the martyr family members to visit for the first day of its inauguration.

It was open for the general visitors from Thursday.

The July Memorial Museum has featured with documents, photographs, and other exhibits highlighting the July Uprising.

An online ticketing system has been introduced for visitors. Admission has been set at Tk 50 for adults and Tk 25 for children.
