Lowest GPA-5 this year in last five years

Lowest GPA-5 achievement found this year in the SSC and equivalent examination in the last five years, analysis revealed.

A total of 1, 16, 676 students secured GPA-5 in 2026.

Besides, average pass rate also reduced this year and stand now to 62.25percent this year.

SSC and equivalent examinations’ results has been announced on Monday (10 August) at the meeting room in education ministry at the Secretariat.

Education Minister Dr. ANM Ahsanul Haque Milon put the several issues over the results.

As per the statistics, 2 lakh 69 thousand and 602 students got GPA-5 in 2022.

The number was far lowest in the following year (2023), achieved 1,83,578 students only secured the results in the category.

While, the number was 1,82,129, as achieved it in 2024.

In 2025, the number was reduced more to 1,39,32.

This year the number was reduced further and stands to of 1, 16, 676, as a lowest in the last five years.
