PM unveils commemorative postage stamp for National Rural Development Day

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman officially unveiled a commemorative postage stamp and a special cancellation seal to mark National Rural Development Day 2026.

The inauguration took place at an official ceremony on Sunday (July 5), where the Prime Minister formally released the commemorative stamp and unveiled the special cancellation seal.

Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Mir Shahe Alam, was attended the event.

Also present were Local Government Division Secretary Md. Shahidul Hasan, Rural Development and Cooperatives Division Secretary Shawkat Rashid Chowdhury, Posts and Telecommunications Division Secretary Bilkis Jahan Rimi, Director General of the Department of Posts Kazi Asadul Islam, along with other senior government officials.
