Courtesy meeting and luncheon held to strengthen Bangladesh–Türkiye relations

A courtesy meeting and luncheon was held between Türkiye's Ambassador to Bangladesh, Ramis Sen, and senior officials of Megasan Medical Industries Bangladesh Limited to further strengthen trade, investment, and bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Türkiye.

The special luncheon, hosted by Ambassador Ramis Sen, took place at the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka on Monday (July 6). Among the attendees was Engineer Nazmul Hasan, Managing Director of Megasan Medical Industries Bangladesh Limited.

During the event, Engineer Nazmul Hasan presented a commemorative crest to Ambassador Ramis Sen on behalf of Megasan. Also present were Arif Çilektin, Chairman of Megasan Türkiye; Yunus Çilektin, Director of Megasan Türkiye; and Billal Belarth, Trade Wing Officer at the Turkish Embassy in Bangladesh.

The cordial meeting featured productive discussions on strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between Bangladesh and Türkiye. Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing the country's healthcare sector, manufacturing advanced medical equipment, promoting new industrial investments, facilitating technology transfer, and expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

Both sides expressed optimism about taking Bangladesh–Türkiye relations to new heights and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing mutual cooperation in advancing the healthcare sector.
