Bangladesh Medical Tourism Foundation makes international debut

Bangladesh Medical Tourism Foundation (BMTF) has made its debut at Sanjeevani-2026, an international healthcare and medical tourism exhibition-conference being held in New Delhi, India.

The international event, which was organized by India's Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), brought together medical tourism organizations, doctors, and representatives from 39 countries.

According to a press release, BMTF President Mohammad Murad Hossain introduced the foundation at the international forum, Sanjibani-2026.

He said that they would strive to explore the potentiality of medical value travel, health care, and international cooperation in Bangladesh.

BMTF Secretary General Md Shahadat Rashid (Apon), and council members Kawsarul Haque Khan, Mushfiqur Rahman, Nishat Dina, Fazle Elahi, and Robin Lal, along with other members and representatives, participated in the event.

Honorary crests were also presented to SEPC Director General Dr. Abhay Sinha, Senior Director Chandranshu Awasthi, and Chairman Dr. Upasana Arora for their contributions to the health service and export sectors.

BMTF said it would work to promote the country's medical tourism industry abroad by establishing relations with international hospitals, medical institutions, medical tourism organizations, and other relevant authorities.

The foundation noted that its presence at Sanjibani-2026 would help position Bangladesh as a global player in medical tourism and open up new opportunities for collaboration.
