8 more children die from measles symptoms

Eight more children died from measles symptoms in the last 24 years across the country.

In the same period, more 798 children found have infected or get measles and symptoms of the diseases, sources said.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the data in its regular news bulletin over the measles situation on Saturday

(15 August).

The health directorate said 8 more children died with the measles symptoms in the last 24 hours across the country.

In the same time, the measles symptoms found among the 728 children’s body.

Besides, 70 children found confirm measles positive in the period.

As per the data of the health directorate, a total of 803 children were died from measles symptoms since 15 March till the date.

In the same time frame, 99 children were died after diagnosed measles.

A total of 902 children were died till the date from measles and its symptoms.

The report of the DGHS showed a total of 17,800 children were confirm of diagnosed with measles since 15 March this year.

Besides, 1, 41,776 children found with measles like symptoms in the same time.

Among them, 1,23,494 children were admitted to hospitals with measles like symptoms.

Among them, 1,19,089 children leave hospitals after getting recovered.
