Oil prices fall in global market

A major development has emerged following preliminary peace talks between the United States and Iran in Switzerland. This positive geopolitical shift has had a favorable impact on global markets, leading to a noticeable decline in oil prices.
According to a report by Reuters on Tuesday (June 23), the price of Brent crude oil in the international market fell by around 0.4 percent to $77.56 per barrel. The decline came shortly after the United States decided to temporarily waive sanctions on Iran’s oil and petrochemical exports for the next 60 days.
In addition, the situation in Lebanon has remained relatively calm following a prolonged period of instability and conflict. As both sides move toward a potential permanent peace agreement, tensions in the region have eased significantly. This growing stability in the Middle East has also directly influenced the oil market.
Market analysts say that the easing of U.S. sanctions and the pause in regional conflicts are expected to increase Iran’s oil supply to global markets. Expectations of improved supply and reduced concerns over shortages have prompted international oil prices to move downward rapidly.
