Deep depression sea, heavy rains forecast across country for 5 days

The monsoon depression over northwest Bay and adjoining areas has intensified into a deep depression. Under its influence, light to moderate rain and moderate to heavy rains are likely to continue over the country for the next 5 days.

Day and night temperatures may fall slightly during the day.
Rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet during the next 24 hours. However, day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Light to moderate rain and heavy rain is likely to occur at many places in eight divisions of the country in the next 24 hours from 9 am on Thursday (July 30). Day and night temperatures are likely to rise slightly over the country on this day, the Met Office said.
