SA TV to air Bengali-dubbed ‘Muhammad’ and ‘Yusuf-Zulekha’

SA TV has taken the initiative to broadcast two internationally acclaimed Islamic television series dubbed in Bengali, aiming to present the authentic history, traditions and teachings of Islam to its viewers.

At a press conference organised by SA Channel (Pvt.) Ltd, also known as SA Group of Companies, on Monday (24 August) afternoon, it was announced that the two Bengali-dubbed series are ‘Muhammad (SW) Flags of Justice Season 2’ and ‘Yusuf-Zulekha’.

SA TV began its journey in 2013 as Bangladesh’s first third-generation television channel. Alongside earning viewers’ trust through news and creative programmes, the channel has focused on broadcasting programmes that promote knowledge, morality and human values.

The series ‘Muhammad (SW) Flags of Justice Season 2’ is based on an important and transformative period in the early history of Islam. It portrays the history of Islam’s progress after the demise of Prophet Muhammad (SW), including the guidance of humanity in light of the Quran and Sunnah, the leadership and expansion of the Islamic state, political changes, social conflicts and various challenges.

Earlier, SA TV aired ‘Muhammad (SW) The Final Legacy Season 1’. Now, the second instalment, ‘Muhammad (SW) Flags of Justice Season 2’, will begin airing on September 13. It will be broadcast every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 8:30pm.

Meanwhile, at viewers’ request, SA TV will also air the Iranian series ‘Yusuf-Zulekha’, based on the life and struggles of Prophet Yusuf (AS) as described in Surah Yusuf of the Holy Quran.

The series portrays the events of Prophet Yusuf’s life, including being thrown into a well as a child as a result of his brothers’ jealousy and conspiracy, his enslavement, the various trials he faced in palace life, his imprisonment following false accusations, and his eventual appointment to an administrative position because of his honesty, knowledge and wisdom.

‘Yusuf-Zulekha’ will begin airing on August 30 and will be broadcast every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 8pm.

Minister MyOne Group is supporting the Bengali dubbing and broadcast of ‘Muhammad (SW) Flags of Justice Season 2’. The group’s Director Mohammad Ali Haider was present at the event.

SA TV said that as a responsible media organisation, it wants to offer viewers not only entertainment but also programmes enriched of knowledge, wisdom, morality and human values. The initiative to broadcast these two series based on Islamic history and traditions has been taken as part of that objective.
