Dhallywood actress Pori Moni became a hot topic of discussion ahead of the England vs. Argentina match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after announcing that she would get married again if Lionel Messi's Argentina won the tournament.

The glamorous actress later clarified that the post was meant as a joke. However, many of her fans took it seriously.

Speaking about the matter, Pori Moni said, "I didn't announce my previous marriage beforehand. I fell in love, and then suddenly got married. This time, after announcing a marriage in advance, I've landed myself in trouble. I never imagined everyone would take it so seriously. I'm receiving so many serious marriage proposals that I honestly don't know what to do."

After Argentina lost to Spain in the World Cup final, the actress expressed her relief in a Facebook post.

She wrote, "Looks like I won't have to get married after all. Until next time, my beloved Argentina."
