Sifat Nusrat as a detective character

There has never been a large-scale production in the local entertainment industry centered on a female detective character. In recent years, even minor female detective roles have been rare in dramas and films. However, a new project is now being developed that is entirely based on detective storytelling, with a female detective as its central character.

Production has begun on a serial titled "Niharika Sen", being produced by Teer Production House. Actress Sifat Nusrat will play the titular role.

According to sources, many talented performers are involved in this mystery-based series, although their names and character looks will be revealed later. Meanwhile, the production house has already unveiled the first look of the character Niharika Sen. Following its release, the on-screen Niharika Sen—played by Sifat Nusrat—quickly became a topic of discussion.

Sifat Nusrat said that production on the series recently began and the shooting of the first episode has already been completed. After several more episodes are produced, the series will be released on Teer Production House’s YouTube channel.

Speaking about her role, Sifat Nusrat said, “Detective Niharika Sen is a challenging character. I want to go a long way with this role. This series will continue to expand through various mystery stories centered around Niharika Sen.”

She also mentioned that the names of the remaining cast members have not yet been disclosed. The first episode was directed by Naziri Sagar. In addition to playing the lead role, Sifat Nusrat herself created and wrote the concept of the series, while the screenplay was written by Mohammad Farhad Hossain Fahad.

She has the potential to bring this unique character to life not only through her beauty but also through her personality, intelligence, and acting skills.
