UCD-7 distributes raincoats to poor working people

Coordination Council of the Department of Social Welfare (UCD-7) has distributed raincoats among the destitute working people including poor rickshaw pullers.

The event was conducted as part of the regular efforts of the Coordination Council of the Department of Social Welfare (UCD-7) to assist poor and destitute people.

The event was held on Monday (5 October) in front of Rajuk Uttara Model College.

The raincoat distribution programme was attended by President of Samannay Parishad Additional DIG (Retd.) Md. Mizanur Rahman, General Secretary Social Services Officer Md. Azizul Islam, Treasurer, also CEO of Rainbow Aid Bangladesh, K.M. Masud, Joint Secretary (CEO, Amar Bari) Md. Ashrafuzzaman, Vice-President Harun-or-Rashid, Executive Member Akbar Hossain, Literature and Culture Secretary Reshma Parvin Tinni, and Publicity and Public Relations Secretary Yasin Mia, along with prominent members of the society.
