Bangladesh Transport Reporters Union publishes magazine

After relentless efforts, years of devotion and endless expectations, the Bangladesh Transport Reporters Union managed to unveil its much anticipated magazine TRUB Barta.
The magazine was unveiled Saturday (12 September) at a function in presence of the organization members.
Bangladesh Transport Reporters Union (TRUB) was formed on October 27, 2024. Since its inception, TRUB has been committed to addressing issues concerning transport, roads, vehicles, passengers, road safety and transport journalism and foster professionalism and solidarity among transport newsmen. Now after two years of relentless efforts, devotion and determination, the long-expected day finally arrived.
The birth of the magazine came into existence due to the incessant efforts, guidance and support of the TRUB members. And on Saturday, a day came when the organization’s secretary along with members formally unveiled the magazine.
In its maiden issue, members of the organization wrote that apart from being a media personality, they also want to create awareness about different aspects of transport and transport journalism through the magazine. The magazine aims to contribute to making Bangladesh’s transport system disciplined, safe and passenger-friendly.
The organization’s general secretary was present in the function and spoke about different aspects of the magazine. He expressed gratitude of the organization for the tremendous efforts made by different members for making the long-cherished dream come true. In his speech, he also mentioned about the need of solidarity in future to make the Bangladesh Transport Reporters Union (TRUB) more effective.
With the united efforts and solidarity of all members, TRUB looks forward to make media more effective to promote the welfare of the people and create awareness about different issues concerning transport.
The members see the magazine as a milestone in the path of TRUB’s development and future prospects. They believe that the publication of the magazine will open new dimensions of TRUB’s activities, which will create a positive impact on different aspects of transport.
On the other hand, members anticipate that the magazine will help them to not only create awareness about transport and its allied activities, but also report misconduct, maladministration and negligence of authorities in a befitting manner in future.
Members of the organization feel that the magazine, which came out after years of expectations, will add new dimensions to the activities of Bangladesh Transport Reporters Union (TRUB).
