BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said the cohorts of the fallen fascist are trying to push the elected government into a deep crisis and plunge the country into turmoil in different ways.

He urged everyone to remain alert, saying the cohorts are involved in various acts of sabotage.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the remarks at around 11am on Wednesday at the premises of Bangladesh Medical University while distributing leaflets to raise awareness about dengue.

He said, “How could a top terrorist flee from a prison van? It has raised questions among the people. The cohorts of the fascist are hatching plots in different departments to push the government into various crises.”

The BNP Acting Secretary General said coordinated efforts are needed to contain dengue. “If we become aware early, dengue can be largely contained,” he said.

He said that to contain dengue, people must keep their surroundings clean and remove stagnant water from every corner of their homes so that Aedes mosquitoes cannot breed there.

The BNP leader said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has directed everyone to quickly remove stagnant water from the areas surrounding their homes.

Rizvi said dengue tests previously cost money, but the government has now made them free.

He said, “The Tarique Rahman government is a government of the people. It will not tolerate any kind of anarchy or offensive activities.”
