Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, an adviser to the BNP chairperson, has traveled to Malaysia to inquire about the health of BNP leader Mirza Abbas, who is currently undergoing treatment. The two met there on Saturday (July 4).

Following the meeting, Alal shared the latest update on the health of Mirza Abbas, a member of the BNP Standing Committee and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister.

Speaking to Asia Post, Alal said, "Mirza Abbas is now in much better condition than before. His health is improving steadily, and he is receiving regular treatment under the close supervision of his doctors."

He also said that Mirza Abbas has requested prayers from BNP leaders, activists, supporters, and the people of the country for his full recovery.

On March 11, Mirza Abbas suddenly lost consciousness while attending an iftar gathering. As his condition did not improve, he was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.

Following brain surgery there, he was airlifted to Singapore on March 15 for advanced medical treatment. After receiving treatment in Singapore for about a month, his condition improved. Later, on the advice of his doctors, he was transferred to Malaysia for continued treatment.
