Suppress plotters who trying to ruin RMG industry: Jamaat Ameer

The leader of the opposition and Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman on Monday (2 November) asked the government to take stern measures against the plotters who are trying to destroy the country’s export-oriented apparel industry.

“Conspirers and the people with ill motive are trying to harm the RMG sector by provoking the situation. Government has to suppress these activities strictly,” Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said in his verified facebook page.

Jamaat Ameer said in his post that the anarchies are continuing in the RMG sector.

Rampage, vandalisms and setting blaze in factories are happening.

All of these are worrisome incidents.

He said, “No any worker or industry owner could be beneficiary or become established by destroying industry. We believe that no any worker supposed to involved in such self-devastating acts.

The leader of the opposition said, at least 600 RMG factories have been closed so far for the rampage.

Plotters might be hatched conspiracy to ruin the potentials of the RMG sector has been created in the upcoming winter.

The Jamaat Ameer asked all to be alert in such situation.
