I can't figure out how Awami League can return to politics: Ruhin Hossain Prince

Ruhin Hossain Prince, former General Secretary of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB), has said he cannot see how the Awami League can return to politics after the killings he alleges the party committed.
He said that despite being a historic political party, the Awami League has fallen into a deep crisis because of what he described as its authoritarian and self-destructive conduct.
Prince made the remarks in a recent episode of the Alapon program on Asia Post.
He said the Awami League had created an atmosphere of fear over a prolonged period and divided society by politicizing state institutions. He added that leftist parties do not support banning any political party through executive orders. However, he said the Awami League's return after being forced to leave the country in the face of public outrage would not be a normal political process.
Prince further said that the Awami League could only regain political space if the current government fails to restore democracy, thereby creating a vacuum for such a force to re-emerge.
