MUNA organizes Sirat Mahfil in Connecticut, USA

The Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA) organized a Siratunnabi (SA) Mahfil at Connecticut in the United States of America with enthusiasm.

The Sirat Mahfil was held at the MUNA Center of Connecticut (MCC) on August 16.

Professor Nurul Amin, president of the MUNA Connecticut chapter, presided over the event, while Advocate Ahsanul Mahbub Zubir, vice-president of the Bangladesh Lawyers Council, was the chief guest. The event was moderated by Maruf Hossain.

MUNA New England Zone President Abdul Mannan and Secretary Mozir Uddin attended the event as special guests. Rakibul Islam recited verses from the Holy Quran.

Speakers discussed the life, work and ideals of Prophet Muhammad (SA) and emphasized the importance of following his teachings and ideals in everyday life.

Later, Akbar Uddin, Abdur Rahim and Rakibul Islam performed songs in praise of the Prophet (SA) in chorus.

The Siratunnabi Mahfil concluded with special prayers. Following the Esha prayer, dinner was arranged for the guests.

Leaders and members of MUNA's Connecticut chapter, members of the local Muslim community and invited guests attended the event.
